Wrist Pain and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a relatively common and painful disorder that can affect the wrists, hands, forearm, and/or elbow areas. Pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness are the most common symptoms experienced.  Approximately 3% of women and 2% of men are afflicted with this condition, and medical treatment can cost as much as $30,000 over a lifetime. The condition is typically caused by repetitive wrist and hand movements, which can occur from work activites, such as typing/data entry or from recreational activites, such as knitting or playing the piano.

Gentle chiropractic care is a noninvasive, drug-free way to treat carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr. Carradine can also provide ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, and/or paraffin bath hand therapy, which can also be beneficial treatments for carpal tunnel syndrome.  Watch our video below or browse our articles to learn more about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
