You’ll be greeted by our friendly and concerned staff, which will make you feel at home. We welcome you to our office!

New patients often remark how warm, comfortable and beautiful our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a pleasant surrounding. So, make yourself at home!

You’ll find plenty of convenient parking and a well-lit parking lot. You’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office and given a short tour to get you acquainted with our facilities.

If you’ve already completed your admitting paperwork, great! If not, we have some brief paperwork for you to fill out. This paperwork provides us with important information about you to enable the doctor to properly evaluate your condition(s). After doing so, we’ll likely show you a short 5-minute video to provide you with some essential information and then you’ll meet Dr. Denise Carradine.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health problems, concerns, goals, and to see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination including orthopedic, neurological, range of motion, and chiropractic tests will help identify the cause of your problem. Following the examination, sometimes x-rays or other diagnostic tests are medically necessary to further evaluate a condition, rule out other more serious conditions or assist in the diagnosis of your problem. For your convenience, we have x-ray, bone density testing (DEXA scan), and EMG/NCV testing on site. Please feel free to discuss your concerns or desire to have x-rays or other diagnostic testing with Dr. Carradine.

First Visit to Boardman Chiropractor

We want you to feel comfortable and at home.

Following the consultation, examination, and x-rays (if necessary), Dr. Carradine will recommend appropriate treatment for your specific condition. If chiropractic treatment is indicated, it can be provided on your initial visit, if desired. Treatment may include spinal manipulation, extremity manipulation, passive modalities such as ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, laser, hydromassage, intersegmental traction, static traction, whirlpool, paraffin bath, hot packs, cold packs, disc decompression or rehabilitative exercise therapy. Home management instructions are also given. If you are not a chiropractic candidate, you will be referred to the proper specialist.
