Our experienced and knowledgeable insurance staff will be more than happy to explain your insurance benefits to you and answer any questions you may have.Financial Policy

With the rising cost of health care, our office strives to make your chiropractic care affordable. For patients who have no health insurance, we offer time of service discounts when payment is made at the time of service. We also have payment plans available and accept most major credit cards as well.

Health Insurance

Chiropractic care is covered under many health insurance plans, but some health policies have a deductible and/or co-payment that each patient is responsible for. Our experienced staff will be happy to verify your insurance benefits prior to your visit to our office so that you will know exactly what your coverage is before you even schedule an appointment. For your convenience, we accept most major credit cards and also offer payment plans.

On The Job Injury/Worker’s Compensation

If you are injured on the job, your care should be paid for under your employer’s Worker’s Compensation insurance. You will need to inform your employer of the accident and complete an incident report at work to document that it occurred. Our office will assist you in filing all other necessary paperwork regarding your claim. Our experienced staff is highly knowledgeable about the workers compensation system and can assist you in navigating through the worker’s compensation process. We understand that work injuries are already stressful enough without confusing paperwork.

Personal Injury or Automobile Accidents

We accept personal injury and automobile accident cases. Our office can bill MedPay and/or at fault insurances after being provided with the insurance carrier information. Please notify your auto insurance carrier of your visit to our office immediately.

Medicare

Our office accepts assignment from Medicare, and our staff will be happy to explain your benefits with or without a supplemental insurance. Medicare does cover chiropractic manipulation/adjustments. Please note that if you have selected a Medicare HMO, you may not have any chiropractic coverage. Regular Medicare provided by the government does cover chiropractic manipulation/adjustments. Our experienced staff will be glad to verify your insurance benefits prior to your visit to our office so that you will know exactly what your coverage is before you even schedule an appointment.

Medicaid

We accept Ohio Medicaid and Caresource. Both Ohio Medicaid and Caresource pay for 15 manipulations/adjustments per year for adults and 30 manipulations/adjustments for children under 21 years of age.

What happens if you stop chiropractic care when you feel better?
Many Boardman folks recognize that this predisposes you to a relapse. Chiropractors know that muscles and ligaments supporting the spine don't fully heal until after symptoms subside.
